Belly Dance

Sensuality, fascination with beauty and music are at the core of Sandra's belly dance classes. The primary movements of belly dance use the core and focus on isolations and sensual movement. They will minimize the waistline an improve posture. The weight bearing muscles are also used which helps prevent osteoporosis.

Tone your body, increase flexibility, core strength and self-esteem, while having a lot of fun.

Belly Dancing is one of the oldest forms of dance, having roots in all ancient cultures from the orient to India to the Middle East. Belly dancing has been used in childbirth preparation, Goddess rituals, spiritual practices, celebrations, physical education, entertainment, and simply for enjoyment. It was first introduced to the US in 1893 by a belly dancer named Little Egypt at a world dance exposition in NY City.
